'THE WOMAN WHO BECAME A BUILDING'

OPENING SA 9 JUNE   -   20.00 / 22.00
09-06 till 08-07

In the 'Woman who became a Building' Iris Box investigates the intersection of material use of familiar objects and organic structures. By deconstructing architectural elements and adding organic structures, arises an open, organic and imaginative installation which deals with the experience of a space.

In her work she examines how man relates to nature. And what contradictions arise between nature and human action.

Iris Box lives and works in Amsterdam. She graduated from The Royal Academy of Art (Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten / KABK) in The Hague Academy (BA) in 2010 and the Sandberg Institute (MA) in 2017 in Amsterdam.
