The Sorry- Scriptorium is a writing desk with integrated salt clock.
It forms the stage / working environment and display for the Sorry / (Bible).
The Sorry / (Bible) is a long-term performative work in progress and artist book where
all letters in the holy bible are erased with white correction fluid, except for the
S, O, R, R, and Y in that order.
The piece will be finished when the last page (of 1104) is whitened out.
The Sorry / (Bible) and Sorry- Scriptorium are part of an ongoing series of “sorry-pieces”
in various media by Willum Geerts.
At the opening and during the the exhibition Willum Geerts performed in
the scriptorium on a regular basis.
